David held 20 exhibitions in London, including the Mall Galleries in Pall Mall, The Galliardi Gallery in Kings Road, Chelsea, and Gallery V in Covent Garden, between 1991 and 1998. His Fractal Art was enabled by the new computer technology, just as The Impressionists were enabled by the then new technology of portable tubes for oil paints. He believes that viewing works of Art, such as ‘Christmas Joy’ shown here, should make people feel happier and uplifted.

The Lake of Ra is another favourite, and shows the Sun God Ra’s warming rays bless the lake in the Karnak Temple in Egypt. It was created by solving two simultaneous differential equations numerically.

The Warmth of Love has a warm feeling, and is loved by many people. It is a Julia Set, and the granddaughter of Gaston Julia, who discovered it, bought a copy from the exhibition in Gallery V in Covent Garden.

Japanese Lilac is named because the delicate tracery in the ‘fans’ is reminiscent of Japanese art, and the general shape of the picture resembles a lilac bloom. It too is very popular, and also a Christmas Card.
