Professor Allen Fisher�s Annual Lecture at The Courtyard, Hereford:
Love and Beauty: a lecture using legacies from ancient art in modern and post-modern painting. A conversation about continuity and invention, illustrated through works of art from Roman villas, Renaissance palaces, French Salons and twentieth century galleries. The evening will include examples from the work of Sandro Botticelli, Nicolas Poussin, Eduard Manet and R.B. Kitaj.

Allen Fisher is Emeritus Professor of Poetry & Art at Manchester Metropolitan University.
