 
REG BOULTON
We are sad to report that Reg Boulton has died at the age of 89. Born in 1923 in London, Reg was in the RAF during the war, after which he studied at Bath Academy of Art and the Cambridge Art School. He was head of art and design at the old Herefordshire College of Education from 1966 - 78 and had lived in Herefordshire for over 42 years. Reg's work included painting, engraving and stone letter-cutting. He gave a fascinating talk about his work to HACS members in 2009 and he had a retrospective exhibition at the Hereford City Art Gallery in 2010. He exhibited worldwide including London, Brazil and Moscow. He supported the Herefordshire Art and Craft Society for many years, serving on the committee and regularly attending our meetings. He will be remembered both for his work and his quiet good-humour and will be greatly missed. |
