I am from Presteigne on the mid-Wales border and I studied under Cecily Sash. I live in Hereford.

My work is a simplified image of what I see, and it is mostly landscape. I like the British landscape with its subdued colours and a stillness, contemplativeness, and spiritualness, that evokes something other than what we are normally aware of.

I like to use a flat design for my work, with no traditional perspective, which I have always seemed to have used unconsciously.
I started using collage in 2001, and I like the expanse of monochrome that the paper gives, to which I add line.
